On the occasion of the 32nd International Geographical Congress to be held at Cologne, Germany, the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography, in collaboration with the International Geographical Union Commission on the History of Geography, organises the international Pre-Congress "Cartography and Geographical Knowledge in the Public Sphere", that will take place in Leipzig on August 22, 2012, as well as a Pre-Congress Field Trip, from Leipzig to Cologne, between August 21 and August 26, 2012.
The Call for Papers and the registration are open up to December 15, 2011. Please find detailed information in the three attached files (in English and French).
