2012–2014: Volunteer in the South Yorkshire and Peak District branch of Campaign to Protect Rural England

2012, 2013: Two work placements at London Borough of Islington Council in planning policy and development control

2010–2014: Studies in Urban Planning at the University of Sheffield, UK (graduated with Bachelor and Master degree; received the Royal Town Planning Institute Yorkshire region student award in 2014)
