Edge Conference "Creation and valuation of novelty at the margins"

Dr Thilo Lang presents results of an IfL study on world market leaders outside of agglomerations

From November 21 to 22, international experts from different fields of knowledge meet in Berlin to discuss about (spatial) conditions for creativity. Among others, the conference seeks to challenge the perception of periphery as the "non – and the beyond-center". On 21 November, IfL researcher Dr Thilo Lang will present findings from a research project on world market leaders outside of agglomerations. The study focuses on spatial aspects of knowledge sourcing in innovation processes of Hidden Champions in ‘central’ and ‘peripheral’ locations in Germany (read more).
